Before use, store the tree in cool natural conditions, away from direct sunlight and wind - preferrably in water.

A fresh cut (12mm) from the trunk/stem prior to placing the cut Christmas tree into a stand, which should contain water, will assist capillary action to enable the tree to absorb moisture and last longer. Keep topped up with water as the tree will absorb a considerable volume of water each day.

Do not place the tree close to any heat source/air conditioning units as this will rapidly dehydrate the tree. A dry Christmas tree is flammable.
